Creating an inaugural post is like writing on the first page of a new notebook. I want it to be special. I want it to be meaningful. I want it to look nice.

As I've learned with new notebooks, it's best to just write whatever is going through my mind. It takes away the preciousness and lets me get down to the important thing--words and ideas. This is just like any other sort of writing. It's better to have something flawed than to have a very promising blank page.
